Designed by architects Bramhall Blenkharn Leonard, the distinguished new residence is conceived in a Georgian style and sits naturally within the mature landscape of the Howardian Hills.

Set within the beautiful landscape of North Yorkshire, this newly built private manor house is a celebration of thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship. Designed by architects Bramhall Blenkharn Leonard, the distinguished new residence is conceived in a Georgian style and sits naturally within the mature landscape of the Howardian Hills.The building replaced a former house that had fallen into a very poor state of repair. In its place now stands an elegant country house, carefully designed to respect both its setting and the architectural traditions that define it. Since completion, the house has received significant local and regional praise, widely recognised for its quiet elegance and architectural restraint, and regarded as a country house truly befitting of its surroundings.
Conceived as a truly bespoke residence, every element of the project reflects a commitment to quality, longevity, and understated luxury. From the earliest stages, the brief called for materials that would not only complement the architecture but extend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, creating a unified and considered whole.
One stone – seamlessly uniting house and landscape
The choice of our award‑winning Witton Fell Sandstone proved pivotal. The stone has been used extensively throughout both the building and the external works, including the paved terraces, steps, coping stones, and balustrade, all crafted from the same material.
